This exhibition features oil paintings by Teruko Yokoi from the 1950s to the 1970s. The works represent a period of transition from figuration to abstraction as Ms. Yokoi moved from Tokyo to San Francisco, New York, Paris, and Bern, and also from the East to the West and from figuration to abstraction. The exhibition traces the transition of Teruko Yokoi’s creative activities from East to West and from figurative to abstract.
