Teruko Yokoi
"Dynamism in the Silence"

February 19 - July 21, 2025

Teruko Yokoi's paintings captivate the viewer between stillness and dynamism. In her paintings, time seems to have stopped, and yet there is a deep and moving sense of power and tension that resides in the silence. The energy of “movement” hidden within the “stillness” accentuates the beauty of the paintings, evoking the sensation as if the paintings are breathing. These works, painted with supple brushstrokes and vivid colors, leave the viewer with a deep impression and a lasting impression.

We hope you will enjoy a special time at this exhibition to experience the inner movement and silence of the heart through the exquisite harmony of “stillness” and “movement” depicted by Teruko Yokoi.
